Matt Newby joined Eagle Materials in June 2012 as Associate General Counsel and was promoted to Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, on June 3, 2022.
Previously, Mr. Newby was an associate at the law firms of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Baker Botts LLP. Mr. Newby is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law (J.D., with honors) and Baylor University (BBA, magna cum laude).
